It’s 2018, and that means every time you apply for a job your Facebook account comes under scrutiny.
You can say your work doesn’t do it, but they do, and you can add in a good LinkedIn peruse while you’re at it. Just a few clicks and you’re snooping away, which is a timely reminder to all to sort out those Facebook privacy settings.
Perhaps it’s best to be honest and upfront about that snooping, like one pizzeria over in Cornwall, England.
No frills, no fuss, just a good ol’ fashioned Facebook post about the kind of employee they’re looking for.
Spoiler alert – no knobs allowed:
They’re taking a look at your Facebook and they’re not shy to tell you about it.
I remember when getting slammed on a Tuesday was an actual, viable life choice. Simpler times to look back on fondly, friends.
I’m pretty sure you’re not after a job in Cornwall, but if you live in Cape Town and want to work for a rad company then here’s some good news.
Pop onto Butler’s Pizza’s Facebook page and you’ll see that they’re hiring drivers:
I don’t know exactly what qualities they’re looking for, but I would say that not being a knob would probably count in your favour.
As long as you’re delivering the goods on time, what you do in your off time is none of my concern.
For fans of chomping on the cheesy goodness, a reminder of the specials Butler’s runs from Sunday to Thursday:
Nom nom, and happy job hunting.
Don’t be a knob.
