Tired of having to mission to a parking lot to score some hash? Constantly fearing the wrath of the pigs? Scared of your Nigerian coke dealer? Now, according to Gawker, there’s a safe and easy way for you, the tech-savvy drug-aficionado, to source your drug of choice: online.
It’s called “Silk Road” and it’s kind of like Amazon, for the sale of narcotics and contraband. If you want something nice and illegal, the chances are that they’ve got it.
The system uses a combination of anonymity technology and a sophisticated user-feedback system to make buying drugs as easy as buying a CD from Kalahari.
Please note, however, that even Silk Road has its limits as to what you can buy and sell. Its terms of service ban the sale of:
…anything who’s purpose is to harm or defraud, such as stolen credit cards, assassinations, and weapons of mass destruction.
By now I see you frantically Googling “Silk Road Drugs”, but it’s a lot more complicated than that to actually get there, as the cops don’t really take a shine to drug-trafficking in general. But if you really want to learn more, check out this article at Gawker. Good luck. But remember, prison isn’t as much fun as they make it out to be on the television.
