It’s been three long years since the triple axe murders at the De Zalze Golf Estate rocked the country.
Since then most South Africans have watched on and wondered exactly how much evidence is needed to convict a person of murder, with Henri van Breda’s trial followed closely by many.
The Western Cape High Court has seen experts for the defence and prosecution take the stand, and after all that Judge Siraj Desai has taken the stand.
UPDATE AT 4:15PM – Henri is found guilty of murdering his parents and brother in January 2015. Guilty of attempted murder of Marli. Guilty of defeating the ends of justice.
