Ever felt like there aren’t enough games about an impending llama apocalypse?
Well dang, you’re in luck.
Not only has Vicious Attack Llama Apocalypse (VALA) just gone on sale, but it turns out that it’s also made by a South African developer, RogueCode.
Via its listing on Steam, here’s what the game is all about:
The world’s best mass llama-slaughter roguelike-lite-ish couch co-op top-down twin-stick shooter.
VALA is a frantic top-down shooter where you remotely pilot an endless supply of mechs from your ocean carrier offshore of the apocalypse, fighting through the llama hordes to take down The Llamanati.
Yeah, there are plenty of puns in the mix. Let’s check out the game’s trailer:
I’m torn, because I’m quite a fan of llamas, but I also think it’s pretty cool that local developers are seeing their game sold around the world.
At the moment the game retails for R105, although it’s discounted to R93,45 until March 5.
