Before he was sworn in as president last week, not much was known publicly about our new president’s private life.
That soon changed, however, when we were introduced to his wife and her family’s many connections .
At the same time, we learnt that Cyril has a house in Fresnaye, one of Cape Town’s most affluent suburbs, situated between Signal Hill and Sea Point.
With vast views of the Atlantic Ocean in the foreground and Lion’s Head towering high in the background, Cyril’s house is what most of us dream of owning.
But it isn’t quite yet finished, reports Business Insider.
You see, Cyril bought two plots of the prime land back in 2010 for R30 million:
The two lots are a combined 1 423 square meters. Ramaphosa snapped up one of the last undeveloped tracts of land on Head Road, one the richest streets in the city.
Now, he is busy building a sprawling mansion.
Sure, it won’t be as big the Nkandla homestead, but it will definitely have a better view.
As long as he pays for it all with his own money, right?
