Oh Fikile, your bullshittery knows no bounds.
As tensions escalate ahead of the ANC Elective Conference this weekend, Fikile Mbalula is up to his usual tricks on Twitter.
It all started with Mbalula implying that he had intercepted R2,5 million in cash, on its way to be used to buy votes at the Conference.
That money, he would have you believe, would be used by Cyril Ramaphosa’s campaign team to buy their votes.
We ran through why that might be pretty difficult yesterday HERE, but let’s get back to Minister Razzmatazz and his obsession with social media.
Here’s that tweet:
Votes for cash, hey Fiks?
Funny, because that picture you’re using is actually from way back in the day. Twitter was on it:
It’s like he has learnt nothing from his last photo gaffe, the mightily embarrassing case of the not-so-criminal criminals (HERE).
But even with egg on his face, and the evidence under his nose, Mbalula can’t be seen to backtrack:
And back to the hashtags, which he clearly reckons are kak funny:
I cringe for him and I cringe for this country.
We’ll skip ahead to the bit about the fight with Derek Hanekom, a current MP and the former Minister for Tourism.
Hanekom said Mbalula must go and the mud-slinging ensued. These via the South African:
There’s more, but you get the drift.
At least Fikile ended off with a touch of class:
Considering that they both played ball with JZ for so long, and our Minister of Police still does, chances are they have enough dirt on each other to call it a draw.
Politics, hey – what a dirty game.
