Move over, George Clooney, because there’s a new premium coffee capsule coming to a kitchen near you.
Let’s be real: there’s not one Nespresso user that isn’t upset over the fact that you can only get capsules at either the Waterfront or Century City – and their e-commerce site is so clunky, forget it!
Seth knows how off-putting the inconvenience is, and the office has heard a few such rants over the years.
Up in Jozi, Pretoria and Durban the struggle is also real, and if you’re not in one of those cities then kiss your capsules goodbye.
Thankfully, however, we have found the ideal alternative that has a few perks to write home about.
With more than 200 stores nationwide – on high streets, in Shell forecourts, and in malls – you can be assured that getting your convenient coffee fix is easier than ever because, well, Vida e Caffè has brought out their own branded capsules.
Not only are they recyclable, so you don’t have to sip on guilt-tainted coffee, but Vida has launched an extensive range that bring you their amazing flavours wherever it is your coffee station is located.
Booya.
The retro afrocentric-styled coffee capsules are available in seven different blends, including Capella, Electra, Estrela, Devra, Auriga and Vega – as well as an Estrela decaffeinated option. There’s even a sleeve called Proxima, which has one of each blend so you can try before you buy:
Our new capsule range has also been designed with ‘vida e mundo’ in mind – Vida’s social responsibility programme. With environmental awareness constantly on the increase, the capsule range is completely recyclable and through a partnership with Tufflex, a leading recycling business, the coffee capsules will be used in the production of plastic timber.
For those of you who have tested non-Nespresso capsules before, and wanted to tear your hair out, we’re pleased to report that Vida have finally managed to get the tech right and these puppies work like a charm.
And that’s only half the news.
Vida has also teamed up with the ultimate legend in home appliances, Russell Hobbs, to create the Galaxia Coffee Capsule Machine and an ever-handy Completo Milk Frother to make your at-home coffee-making experience all the more delicious.
Why would Vida do such a thing? Because they want to share their experience with you all the damn time.
As of today, December 1, 2017, all of the above will be available from Vida stores around the country, as well as @home, Takealot, Yuppiechef, DionWired and more.
Here’s how much you will be dropping:
Not too shabby, hey? Let’s take a look at the whole package, shall we?
So funky, so sexy, so Vida!
