Every now and then we introduce you to a group of rich kids.
Normally, their wealth makes sense. They come from countries with pretty legit GDPs, like Switzerland.
But then you get those who are the offspring and associates of dictators like Robert Mugabe.
We have met Mugabe’s sons more than once, but what about the rest of Zimbabwe’s elite that are associated with the man who was once in charge of the country?
Well, wouldn’t you like to know. Of course, Daily Mail has the scoop.
First, there’s Philip Chiyangwa, a ‘nephew’ of Mugabe who is worth $280 million (R3,9 billion). His daughters, Vanessa Chironga and Michelle Chiyangwa, have been dubbed the ‘Zimbabwean Kardashians’ and regularly flaunt their wealth on Instagram.
Let’s take a look – from Vanessa’s Instagram:
And here’s Michelle – although she’s more into selling her wigs and weaves:
Next up is Sir Sid – or Sidney Himbara Jr – who’s the son of Sidney Himbara, one of the wealthiest businessmen in the country.
His Instagram comes out tops for parading his wealth online . Here are a few examples, and you can see his account here.
Then there’s Genius Kandungure, the controversial businessman who was able to strike his first major deal securing gas for domestic use due to his connections with Angolan Airways.
Also known as O.G Simba to his followers, here’s a taste of his wealth:
The rest of the list includes Uebert Angel – the ‘GODFATHER of the PROPHETIC MOVEMENT; Wicknell Chivayo – the richest of the Zimbawean rich kids; Simba Chikore, Bona Mugabe’s husband; and loan shark Frank Buyanga.
Oh, and of course, there’s Mugabe Junior – let’s just take a look at the vehicle he rocked up in while studying American Architecture in Dubai.
No skaam, hey.
I’m done here.
