Although the shock rocker had to pull out of his latest tour after he was injured by falling stage props, the show must go on, right?
Definitely.
To maintain relevancy and interest in his 10th studio album, Marilyn Manson released a music video for the track ‘Say10’.
It stars none other than his bestie, Johnny Depp, and is directed by Bill Yukich.
In a statement, Manson shared a few thoughts of his own, reports Billboard:
“After the balloons have all shrivelled up and are swallowed in the puddles of puke and idealism, don’t look to Me for sympathy. I am here to be all that I am accused of not being. And to be blamed for what you made Me. The shots you will hear are from a mouth disguised as a gun. Don’t call this art. This is a hard cock in a room full of vampires and the music, man. The music is My foul blood on your faces.”
In other words, prepare yourself for some creepy AF imagery that, even though we are all so used to by now, is more about Manson defending his role as a stalwart of goth rather than introducing anything new.
Depending on where you work, parts of this might be considered NSFW:
Johnny does do creepy a little too well, doesn’t he?
