If I take home millions and millions of dollars, I’m hauling a bottle of the good stuff to the post-fight press conference and I’m having some fun.

That was the approach taken by Conor McGregor, who arrived at the conference with a bottle of whiskey in hand.

So Floyd had been chatting away for close to an hour when his counterpart arrived at the post-fight presser, and he handed over the mic to let the Irishman do his thing.

As you can see from the video below, he was in a rather festive mood right from the start:

McGregor kept sipping from his cup and became more raucous the longer he spoke. He cackled when Mayweather answered a question about the difference between MMA and boxing by saying “the cheque” before interrupting a reporter to rave about the alcohol he was drinking.

“Ooh that whiskey tastes so good! Oh s***. Notorious Irish Whiskey. Coming soon,” he said.

“I’m going to take over the Irish whiskey market. And this is delicious. So keep an eye out for it.”
