Ever Caught A Glass Just Before It Hits The Ground? This Ad Nails That Feeling [Video]

Combining relief, elation and a sense of achievement, the quick-thinking glass catch is highly underrepresented in advertising. Finally, someone doing it justice.

There’s a smug satisfaction, tinged with great relief, that comes from clasping a glass before it shatters into smithereens.

Of course it’s far better if someone is watching, and you get to show off the spoils of your feline-like reactions, but even if you’re all alone the rush is quite something.

Don’t understand what I’m talking about? Shame, you haven’t lived.

So there’s an ad out for a new sports betting app called Kwiff, and it’s managed to sidestep advertising regulations very skillfully.

Due to restrictions on gambling ads they’re not allowed to talk about how gambling gives you a rush, but they are allowed to use analogies.

First up, it’s the glass-catching feels:

It’s how he wanted to go.

That is just one of a number of ads by the app, and this one is also pretty decent:

Yes, they are going after the male market.

Kwiff or that Kiwi meat company (HERE) – you decide.
