Donald Trump is many things. One man’s tycoon is another’s cantankerous old curmudgeon. Our opinion of the man falls somewhere in between those two markers.
One of Trump’s favourite pastimes in recent months – despite stoking the flames of his long-running presidential candidacy joke to the point of bad taste – is to write to the editors of publications critical of him, his hair, or his political agenda.
But Donald seems to have reached a point of exasperation. Sighting a flippant, albeit critical blog post on Vanity Fair’s website, the DT printed out the offending article, and took a permanent marker to the pages – before sending the subbed piece back to Vanity Fair.
Our favourite note is Trump’s hand written insistence on the second page that Forbes’ estimation of his wealth is “billions too low”.
