One of the main reasons I enjoy gong to the cinema is the popcorn. And, in particular, the salt and vinegar flavour shake that I sprinkle all over it. And when I say “sprinkle,” I mean “massacre.”
For me, there is only enough salt and vinegar on the popcorn if it causes me to cough when inhaling the air above the top of the box. Another tell-tale side-effect is the subsequent peeling of the inside of my lips over the next few days.
It’s so awesome.
So anyways I popped into The Friendly Store on Camps Bay Drive the other day to get some snacks. This is what I found.
Jumpin Jack popcorn – salt and vinegar flavour
Now I don’t know what you’re into, but if you’re into what I was describing above, then I’d like to give these guys the go ahead. they have NAILED it. I thought they might be a little bit gay with the amount of salt and vinegar sprinkle they have applied, but they weren’t. I’m happy to report that they are considerably liberal with their dosage. So much so that I coughed AND my lips peeled!
Well done, Jumpin Jack!
