The media and general public have always made a fuss about the Royal Family’s looks. As a family of semi-royalists, I remember conversations at home to do with Diana, and how she would “inject” a welcome and “much-needed” dose of good-looking DNA into the royal family’s gene pool.
No doubt Kate will do the same.
It appears some injecting has been going on elsewhere, as Lady Amelia Windsor (36th in line) has indicated, having been touted by Tatler as ‘The Most Beautiful Member of the Royal Family.’
God, she must be over the moon. And even more so when she subsequently found herself walking the ramp for D&G.
Where does she fit in, you might ask? Lady Amelia is the granddaughter of The Queen’s first cousin, the Duke of Kent. Her dad is the Earl of St. Andrews, street name George Windsor.
According to Telegraph:
Now Lady Amelia has taken her next foray into the world of modelling as the star of a vibrant short film for footwear designer, Penelope Chilvers.
Filmed in El Rocío- the Andalucian town renowned for its charming wooden houses, dusty streets and annual pilgrimage and feria- the film sees Windsor scuffing through the dust in a casual-cool uniform of jeans and a camisole top before being enticed by the colourful flounces and prints of flamenco dresses.
Great – let’s have a look at that:
What a lovely, vibrant clip.
You can read more about her personal style at Telegraph here, as we end off with her thoughts on her future, as well as some parting shots found on Google.
[She] has even hinted that there may be more to her future fashion career than modelling alone. “I would love to make a contribution to any aspect behind the creative process,” she told Vogue earlier this year. “On my year abroad I want to really further my understanding of every aspect of a fashion house: from the making of the fabrics to the production of a catwalk show.”
The one of her in the white and the boots was at her 21st, which was an absolute riot, I can tell you first hand.
How we laughed.
