Whether or not jazz tickles your fancy, and it really should, the Cape Town International Jazz Festival is an event unlike any other.
It has been dubbed ‘Africa’s Greatest Gathering’, in part thanks to the fact that it is the largest music event south of the Sahara.
With five stages graced by more than 40 world-class performers from around the globe, close to 40 000 visitors are expected to swing past the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) on the weekend of Friday March 31 and Saturday April 1st.
In terms of ‘local is lekker’, we have our own guitar sensation Ernie Smith performing, a multiple SAMA, KORA and Metro music award winner.
Here he is (on our left) in fine spirits with Siya Matroos (right) at the Magents store in Montecasino:
So, about those Jazz Festival tickets – the bad news is that both the Weekend Pass tickets and the Early Bird tickets are sold out, but how about winning the full VIP treatment?
Magents, the proudly South African brand specialising in streetwear t-shirts, sneakers, denims, jackets, sweatpants, sweaters and accessories, have made entering this competition a pleasure.
