The Ryder Cup, which came to a close late last night amidst victorious chants of ‘USA, USA, USA’, really was one for the ages.

The Rory McIlroy / Patrick Reed battle was a joy to behold, especially on the front nine where the two played flawless golf.

Then there was the Phil Mickelson / Sergio Garcia tussle, the points shared after 18 holes of fantastic putts and greenside scrambles.

The endearing image, however, might be that of Rickie Fowler, the 27-year-old summing up the single life in amidst the U.S. victory celebrations.
