Oooooooh, how excited are you for another Vince Gilligan creation?
I mean, while Breaking Bad is considered one of the best series ever created (I still display fanatic admiration for The Sopranos), and its spin-off Better Call Saul is not doing that bad at all, it is definitely time for something completely different.
Like a series on the Jonestown Massacre.
Titled Raven, Gilligan’s new series will focus on cult leader Jim Jones whose following, the Peoples Temple, famously committed mass suicide in 1978.
Based on Tim Reiterman’s book Raven: The Untold Story of Jim Jones and His People, it is set to air on HBO, but no date has been confirmed.
Let’s just hope Vince can manipulate a real-life story into one of his intriguing tales.
