2oceansvibe caught up with the director of the biggest forthcoming sci-fi film of the year, Battle: Los Angeles. Jonathan Liebesman is a born and bred Joburg boy making big waves in Hollywood, and an avid Proteas fan. With subject matter ranging from film research and alien weaponry, to comparisons with contemporary director Christopher Nolan and South Africa’s prospects at the ICC Cricket World Cup, Jonathan Liebesman was an interesting and articulate guest.
