Look, we dig the odd spot of gaming here at 2oceansvibe. If you swing by the 2oceansvibe Media Headquarters in Waterkant Street and head upstairs, just past Richard Hardiman’s desk but in front of the boardroom, you may or may not find a little lounge set up there, tastefully furnished, with the odd plasma screen, hooked up wirelessly to a certain gaming console.
We’re also not afraid of putting our feet up on the coffee table while we’re in that vibe. It’s a lifestyle. Don’t hate us.
So you can imagine the electric thrill of pleasure that made it’s way through my body when multiple of members of The Inner Circle referred me – independently of each other – to this absolute lag of a gaming giveaway happening at the moment.
I’m sure some of the more serious PC gamers among you will be familiar with Chaos Computers – they’ve got branches all over Cape Town. You are? I’ve done a little snooping, and when it comes to gaming, these people are “winning”.
They’re currently running a giveaway on their website and Facebook pages which is the actual definition of living the holiday, if you happen to be a gaming enthusiast.
Chaos wants to give you and your hand-picked entourage a five day gaming holiday in a tit Camps Bay villa. Shame.
You and your friends will get a limo ride to and from the Camps Bay villa, which will be completely stocked with junk food, beer, Red Bull, and memories of a once in a lifetime experience.
And the likelihood that you won’t be obligated in any way to change your clothes or shower during that five-day Red Bull and gaming binge is exceptionally high.
Why would you need to? You’ve got the radlantic no more than a few paces away, and you’re in Camps Bay. Nudity is du jour, especially while nailing the final lap on Gran Tourismo.
Entering this sick competition is as simple as heading over to the Facebook page or going to the website. Tell them which of your gadgets you absolutely cannot live without. I know what I would answer…
Chaos is also giving away tons of spot prizes (like 500gb external hard drives) on the Facebook bladsy.
