Vicki Momberg, the lunatic estate agent who was filmed screeching the word ‘kaffir’ at the top of her lungs more times than you could count, appeared in court yesterday. She was charged with crimen injuria after the incident.

I’m still unsure about what it is that estate agents have against black people, but Momberg, whose rant you can check out HERE, is sorry about the incident. This is according to her representation Advocate Nardus Grove, who in a statement said:

It was a traumatic incident and she snapped and it has caused very bad publicity for her and she has always had good relationships with her clients of all races.

Momberg didn’t want to be branded as a racist by the media because that is not the person she is.

She has prepared a written apology that she has asked me to convey.

Yesterday’s appearance in the Randburg Magistrate’s Court was to hear an application to broadcast the case on national television, but after being contested by Grove it was denied.

Thank the high heavens we’ve only just put the last televised court case behind us.
