Gavin Rajah, the ‘darling’ of South Africa’s fashion scene with a rather nasty rap sheet of stealing other people’s designs.
We’ve written plenty about it in the past – for your enjoyment HERE, HERE, HERE and HERE – play catch up, if that’s your thing.
Now he will be scouring the internet and glossy mags for inspiration to pull off his latest project, dressing five young women for their matric dances.
He revealed this on Instagram – complete with awful music and a video that just seems like a waste of people’s mobile data.
I won’t subject you to that (you can watch it HERE if you must), because a screenshot will do the job:
And here’s the text from that sidebar for our less eagle-eyed readers:
This year we are making 5 young women’s dreams come true! If you are a deserving recipient of this or know of someone who is please ask them to email us a motivating letter saying why they deserve this. Email info@gavinrajah.com Entrants should be enrolled in a school, have good grades and a making a difference in their communities or their own lives.
Hear that, y’all better have good grades because Gavin ain’t dressing no C-Graders.
No word yet on whether you can send in your own designs, only for Gavin to claim them as his own.
