Back in 1992 Thomas Ross scribbled a little drawing depicting a futuristic phone, kind of like those movies that showed hoverboards and the like back in the day.

Now, years later, he is claiming that Apple stole his design and suing the company for $10 billion.

Hailing from Florida, Ross’ image depicts the then-future of human communication. While he had some things on point, he definitely missed a few important elements. Like a touch screen.

While the two may look the same, iPhones have never actually come with a physical keyboard.

But let’s take a look at his second drawing:

The phone opens up. Thomas, I am sorry to say this, but you are going after the wrong company.

If anything, Nokia should be your target.
