Many in the rugby community will have moved on and forgotten about the penalty that changed the course of the 2015 Rugby World Cup quarter-final, but no one from Scotland ever will.
It’s not just the fact that Craig Joubert made an incorrect call which angered the Scots, but also his decision to run off the field at the final whistle.
With Bernard Foley slotting that controversial penalty and the Aussies winning 35-34, Joubert beat a hasty retreat and was criticised heavily in the days that followed.
He has already addressed those critics (HERE), saying that he has made peace with the Scottish coach and captain, but now he is talking about just how difficult the aftermath was for the first time.
Don’t worry Craig, here in SA you’ll always be more popular than both Bryce Lawrence and Darrell Hair.
