Friday brought news that Oscar Pistorius had given his first interview (HERE) since that fateful day more than three years ago, but now the media circus will really focus on the disgraced athlete as his sentencing is handed down.

The process would be similar to a trial, and the defence and State would be able to call witnesses to argue in aggravation and mitigation of sentencing, and could then cross-examine them, lawyer William Booth said.
