In the weeks leading up to AfrikaBurn, girls were posting to Facebook secondhand groups desperately seeking outfits for the desert event. Think headdresses, leotards, and paper parasols.
In the mean time, the boys were being a little more original, getting their sewing-able family members to stitch them up a unique piece to wear.
Now that the desert lovers have returned to the (shock, horror!) real world, our Facebook feeds are inundated with all those secretive outfits friends and strangers were preparing. We found few on Instagram, for it’s vital to #Afrikaburn:
