Fikile Mbalula loves a good Twitter battle – Gareth Cliff (HERE), some hackers (HERE), even Kanye and Obama (HERE).

His latest spat involves cartoonist Zapiro, who is no stranger to butting heads with politicians either.

It all stems from the cartoon Zapiro penned in the wake of Allister Coetzee being named Bok coach, illustrating the tough juggling act he will have to perform. Fikile was not impressed:

You can read that as you please, but it’s clear that Zapiro thinks the Sports Minister has misunderstood exactly what he was saying.

Oh we know that Fikile has more than a little imagination up his sleeve, don’t worry about that guys.

As of yet the minister has not responded, although if you keep an eye on his Twitter account it shouldn’t be long now.
