Wow. Remember when the first Harry Potter books came out and, if you were a fan, you would devour them as quick as you could, all the while goosebumps tingling through your body?
Well, that’s pretty much what happened to me while watching the trailer for Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them, the latest offering from J.K. Rowling.
The movie will take us back in time, giving us a glimpse of the wizarding world in New York, 1926. Eddie Redmayne plays Newt Scamander, a magical beast smuggler who has just arrived in the Big Apple. When one of the creatures escapes, all hell breaks loose and American Auror Percival Graves (Colin Farrell) is sent after him.
You may be familiar with the name, as J.K. released a book of the same name back in 2001 and it is (obviously) a prequel to the Harry Potter series. The film is the first in a trilogy and will hit theatres this year November.
It’s amazing what you can do when you create a completely different reality.
