The final round of the Masters had a little something for everyone. There was wonderkid Jordan Spieth suffering a meltdown, leading by five with nine to play before dropping six shots in three holes.

There was an unheralded come from behind win by Brit Danny Willett, holding his nerve and taking home the coveted green jacket.

And then there were the hole-in-ones at the 16th hole, three in total, but none more outrageous than South African Louis Oosthuizen’s. Watch that video above, with Oosthuizen’s comments below from News24:

“I saw my ball pitch in a good spot to have a chance and then I saw JB’s ball and I thought, ‘Oh, there goes the chance of a one”…

“And then I just really watched the crowd and walking up there I could see one was in there obviously really close and the other one is in.

“So I was just hoping that it was my ball that was in and not JB’s because then neither of us would have a hole-in-one. He would have had to move his ball back.”

Sorry to dash your dreams but no, if both balls had gone in it would not have been a double hole-in-one.

The day’s most awkward moment came during the green jacket presentation, last year’s winner (and this year’s runner up / choke artist) Spieth doing the honours. Not that he looked like he enjoyed it very much…

Chin up Jordan, there is no doubting that your future holds another Masters title or three.
