Guess who’s back, back again, Brody’s back, tell a friend.

If you’re new to this story, we’ll run through where we are at with this one. A while back we published THIS story, focusing on a Facebook group called #SouthAfricansForTrump.

At the time the group was PUBLIC (anyone on Facebook can look at it), so we wandered in and took a few screenshots of what had been going on. We published those screenshots, letting people know about it, in case they hadn’t themselves seen it on Facebook.

This didn’t sit well with the group’s admin, who fired back with an angry email which you can read HERE.

Well he wasn’t quite done, because today we were greeted by a second email:

Again I am forced to use this email to correspond with your organisation. This matter has been transferred to the press ombudsman and I am certain that you will be hearing from that media regulating entity in due course.

I remind the pertinent journalist that your piece includes an interactive link to a closed/private facebook page and this is a transgression of privacy and facebook laws. Your latest piece is intended to be further damaging to me and I have taken note of this – I perceive your entity to now being involved in harassment.

And by the way send my best regards to your “Chief Editor” Mr Seth Rotherham…

Thanks again for getting in touch, Shane. And thanks for the kind regards. I feel like we may have got off on the wrong foot – if you’ve created a group called #SouthAfricansForTrump, surely you aren’t ashamed of backing the big man? We were only trying to bolster your group’s numbers.

We thought surely there are more local Trump supporters than just the 81 members of your group, and following our rallying cry membership climbed to a lofty 98.

We are sad that you’ve chosen to change the group’s name to #FollowingTheTrumpCampaign, and now it appears you have either deleted or made the group secret.

We hope you enjoy following Trump’s campaign, we write about him pretty often over this side. You should be warned though that what we say about the Trumpster isn’t always that positive (much like most of the Western World’s coverage), but I guess to each their own, right?
