Jeremy Loops has established himself as one of South Africa’s most esteemed humblebraggers. But he’s going to have to work hard with this kind of stiff competition.
Yesterday we gave you this article, featuring a recent humblebrag by local musician, Jeremy Loops. Check it out here. For the uninitiated, here is the definition of a humblebrag.
We asked you to send in some other quality social media humblebrags, should you see any. Obviously with today’s social media oversharing and humblebragging epidemic, it didn’t take long for someone to send in this masterful humblebrag by one Mark De Klerk.
Jeremy Loops should take a page out of Mark’s book, because this is next level humblebragging.
What we have here is an EXPERT humblebragger and for this we applaud Mark De Klerk. I doubt anyone can compete with this level of genius.
“So yeah, sub 3 hours..”
No one really says that in real life, which takes Mark to the next level. He’s posting on social media like he hears and sees people talking in movies – which makes it even more epic. Then he goes on to explain that sub-3 hours wouldn’t have been a big deal at all, if it wasn’t for the currents.
Then the shoutout to Theo and multi-tagging of many people pushes our appreciation of him to further heights. He knows that tagging is necessary for more comments and, hopefully, some momentum, to get that humblebrag out there. So more people will know about the “sub 3 hours” achievement.
Mark, we salute you!
Post-exercise social media posts are reaching impossible levels at the moment. This, naturally, allows for some epic humblebrags, as we’ve seen here today.
Keep an eye out and please send screenshots of any outstanding humblebrags to editor@2oceansvibe.com
