It wasn’t just some guy that Trump thought was connected to ISIS causing havoc at this weekend’s rallies, Friday evening in St Louis turning so ugly that the Republican frontrunner saw fit to cancel his speech.

Violence broke out between supporters and protesters, with at least 32 people arrested. 31 of those were for disturbing the peace, with more below from KTLA:

“These people are so bad for our country, you have no idea, folks,” Trumps said as one protester was escorted out by officials. “They contribute nothing, nothing.”

About a dozen protesters appeared to be in the back chanting.

One held a sign that read, “Not your lazy black,” with an arrow pointing down.

As another protester was lead out, Trump again lamented.

“Go home to mommy,” he said. “Go home, get a job.”

The number of protesters unfairly drew media attention, according to Trump.

“The only time they show these massive crowds is when they think there’s trouble,” he said.

“You’ll notice it’s singles,” he said, referring to the protesters. “It adds up to like four people, but they make a big deal — the riots, the riots. There are no riots.”

“Bernie Sanders is lying when he says his disruptors aren’t told to go to my events,” Mr. Trump tweeted Sunday. “Be careful Bernie, or my supporters will go to yours!”

On Saturday, Mr. Trump blamed Mr. Sanders’ supporters for disrupting his Republican presidential nomination rally in Chicago, which he cancelled Friday night.

“Some represented Bernie, our communist friend,” Mr. Trump said of the Chicago protesters, at a Saturday event in Dayton, Ohio.

Later that day at a rally in Cleveland, Mr. Trump speculated where the protesters came from: “You know where they come from? Bernie’s crowd. They’re Bernie’s crowd.”

No, they’re just everyday people who believe that seeing you take the presidential hot seat will be the worst decision in America’s recent political history.

The last word to Bernie Sanders then:

“I don’t think our supporters are inciting. What our supporters are doing is responding to a candidate who has, in fact, in many ways, encouraged violence,” Mr. Sanders said at a news conference in Chicago. “When he talks about … ‘I wish we were in the old days when you could punch somebody in the head.’ What do you think that says to his supporters?”

In a later statement, Mr. Sanders added: “As is the case virtually every day, Donald Trump is showing the American people that he is a pathological liar.”
