Local boys Locnville have dropped their new music video, the brothers Chaplin having spent a year in Los Angeles honing their craft. In the interest of playing nice I’ll hand over the reins to Channel24 before I say something I might regret:
Their new material is upbeat with a cinematic, tribal feel, giving their hook-filled new material a solid structure and sonic texture to haul their fans, new and old, into 2016.
This is truly evident on the new single Grapevine – a slice of rolling electro-hop that glitches and twists before dropping into old-school dub and back, underneath their signature matter-of-fact rhyming.
You just do you lads, but if you really want to go full hipster you’ll need to grow out those wispy little fur muzzles.
