Boys will be boys, but some boys have a little too much to drink and end up behaving like complete knobs.

Those boys would be part of the stag party for 26-year-old Josh Mariner, flying on Ryanair from England to Slovakia for a final few days of revelry. Not that things went according to plan, two of the party becoming involved in a fight at 30 000 feet that caused the plane to be diverted to Berlin and the lads kicked off.

A gold star if you guessed the fight was to do with a woman, Jamie and Tom having shared more than just a flight. This from The Sun:

One pal said: “Basically there is a bit of history between Jamie and Tom — they don’t like each other and I’m amazed Josh had them both on the trip.

“They’re always getting drunk and arguing and it’s not the first time they’ve been in trouble. They’re always scrapping.

“It was all over a girl called Jeri. They’ve both been out with her and Jamie’s been out with her again recently. He was winding Tom up about it and it all kicked off.

“To be honest, I’m also surprised they were allowed to fly. They’d been drinking for more than six hours and were absolutely steaming.”

Six of the party were arrested in Germany and face fines of up to £19,500 plus possible civil action.

And you thought that time you had to chip in for damage to the house you rented was rough.

Let this be a lesson to us all – wait until you’ve arrived before scrapping over a shared love interest.
