The wonderful world of Tinder, where you have a grand total of 0.35 seconds to make a decent impression before you are dismissed with the swipe of a finger.
Best to make your first impression count then, which apparently has a decent amount to do with what you have down as your profession. This information ain’t to be dismissed lightly either, Tinder themselves releasing a list of the jobs that elicit the most positive response.
TIME with the deets:
Among men, pilots receive the most right swipes, followed by founders or entrepreneurs, then firefighters. Among women, physical therapists are most popular, with interior designers coming in second place and entrepreneurs in third.
The ability to include job and education info in user profiles was a much-requested feature that was added in November. Tinder says sharing that info leads to more matches for users.
