We all have one, that friend who insists on wearing Crocs everywhere they go. The whole group suffers as a result but no, they won’t be swayed.
Thanks Chris, this one’s for you.
In the wake of the news that David Bowie had passed away Twitter was awash with tributes, outpourings of emotion filling our timeline as people frantically Googled Bowie quotes to come across as real fans. This is where all of those managing brand accounts might want to take notice – people usually get offended when you try and profit off of the deaths of high profile figures.
Like this from Crocs’ official Twitter account, subsequently deleted after the shit hit the fan:
Tasteless my friends, something the internet was quick to point out.
See that, unless you work in the kitchen of a restaurant or have given up all hope of ever being considered fashionable it’s not OK to wear these monstrosities.
#DoItForBowie.
