Ex-wife Angie Bowie has been making waves in the house for a number of attacks on Bowie’s personality, the two having not seen each other since their divorce in 1980. Here’s the Daily Mail with Angie’s accusations:

‘He hates me,’ she told fellow contestants…

‘That is because David poisoned the boy [the couple’s son, Zowie] against me,’ says his mother. Why would he do such a thing? ‘I don’t know, you’ll have to ask him’.

She also alleged that David had forced her into having an open marriage, although she readily admits that the bisexual couple were open to experimentation.

Back to the matter at hand, Angie at present being unaware that David has passed away. The Guardian reports:

A spokesperson for the broadcaster said: “Following the very sad news of David Bowie’s death this morning, we can confirm that Angie Bowie will be informed off camera today.”

Contestants on the show have no access to telephones or any contact with the outside world.

The American former model went into the Big Brother house last Tuesday. It is unknown whether she will remain on the show following the news.

Given that the two haven’t spoken in 36 years perhaps she may be tempted to stay on the show. After all, you don’t appear on Celebrity Big Brother unless you’re desperate to have your 15 minutes back in the public eye.
