No matter what you’ve done (or not done) a traffic stop usually rattles the nerves. That being said, there are surely better ways to put your mind at ease than racking up a few lines while you sit and wait for the officer to run your license through the system.
This 73-year-old man in Seattle is today’s dumbest criminal winner, officer Nic Abts-Olsen unable to believe what he was seeing. Here’s Jalopnik:
“What’s in your left hand?” asked Abts-Olsen.
“Nothing,” the man replied
“Show me what’s in your left hand,” the officer demanded.
The driver tried to claim he had vitamin pills, but then said “I know!” after the officer (correctly) pointed out that white powder looks nothing like a vitamin pill.
Instead of getting let off with a warning, the man was arrested and booked into the King County Jail for possession of narcotics.
Stick to toilet cubicles like everyone else you daft old dingbat.
