This Is The Current Rubbish State In Jozi [Shocking Video]

Jozi ain't looking so pretty as the strike hits the end of its second week and the city's rubbish is yet to be picked up.
An excavator crushes trash at the Anchorage Landfill, Aug. 21. The landfill provides the methane that powers the newly constructed Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson Landfill Gas Plant. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Brian Ferguson)

At best, Johannesburg isn’t the neatest city: It’s a bit rough around the edges, with uncut roadside foliage and  unkempt building, but that’s what gives it its charm.

However, nearing the end of the City’s second week of unprotected protests by the Pikitup team, so much rubbish can be seen strewn across the roads in the city centre.

What a pity.
