For The Rich Folk – The 10 Most Expensive S.A. Suburbs To Live In

I'm sure you live in a pretty nice area but if you're looking at taking the next step up then this is where you'll want to buy property.

So you’ve recently come into a bit of money and you want to try that whole ‘lifestyles of the rich and famous’ thing out for a bit – lekker, here’s where you’ll need to live to pull it off.

Earlier this year the national average price of a house in our country hit the R1 million mark, not so lekker for first-time buyers. If you want to live in one of the top 10 most expensive suburbs in the country, however, that average price rockets to around R11 million.

Right, TimesLive with the list:

1. Clifton (R19.75 million)

2. Sandhurst (R14.9 million)

3. Llandudno (R11.2 million)

4. Bantry Bay (R11 million)

5. Westcliffe (R11 million)

6. Bishopscourt (R11 million)

7. Constantia (R11 million)

8. Dunkeld (R10.5 million)

9. Fresnaye (R10.5 million)

10. Camps Bay (R10 million)

Looks like the Atlantic Seaboard is killing it, three of the top ten and Llandudno tucked just around the corner. You can still get away with paying less than those average prices, these five properties all coming in at under R5 million.

Got R450 million to throw around? Of course you don’t but why not take a look anyway, THIS house is something pretty special.

I would tell you to let your friends in these areas above know they’ve cracked the top ten but they probably knew that already.
