In a bizarre story a young woman has died hours after undergoing a cosmetic procedure to enhance her bums appearance. This is the first time the procedure has come to my attention but apparently bumplants are nothing new in the world of very very good looking (Zoolander voice) people.

Claudia Adusei, 20, died around 1:30am on Tuesday morning after being taken to a Delaware County hospital in Philadelphia in the States, court documents have revealed. She had travelled from the UK along with three of her friends, one of whom was having hipplants, and the other two a party in New York.

The two woman undergoing the procedures are alleged to have undergone their treatment in a rented motel room. This was also their second visit for such treatment. At the moment it is unclear who administered the fatal injection but it is known that the women sourced the procedures via the internet.

“The preliminary cause of death is attributed to silicone injected into the woman’s vascular system, ultimately stopping her heart, according to the Delaware County medical examiner. The autopsy is not yet complete.”

Well, there you have it. If you’re going to get bumplants or hipplants anytime soon just be sure to check with your “cosmetic surgeon” whether you’re allergic or not.
