As 5PM on Saturday edges closer (yes kick-off is at 5, not 5:45) the nerves are already beginning to fray slightly around the edges. Luckily I should have imbibed a few soothing toots by the time the match rolls around, although it doesn’t help with the swearing at the TV problem all that much.
Anyway Francois Louw, aka Flo, had a few things to say in the presser [from about 2:35 onwards] ahead of the quarter-final clash against Wales. The Boks will be without Oom Victor, but with a lock pairing that is firing and Damien ‘metres are like sweeties to me’ de Allende holding down the midfield there is cautious optimism in the office.
Dictate that tempo Flo, and if you could ask the boys to curb those penalties at the breakdown that would be lekker – the less we see of ‘The Biggarena‘ the better…
