Imagine sitting in your house on a Tuesday afternoon and having a dump truck plough into your residence – pretty harrowing, right?

Well unfortunately yesterday afternoon’s truck crash on Avenue St Denis in the suburb of Fresnaye left three men dead, according to paramedics who assisted at the scene. News24 reports:

ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene shortly after 15:00 and found a large dump truck wedged in a garage of a residence,” ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring said.

“On further assessment, paramedics found three lifeless bodies lying inside the front cab of the truck. All three men had succumbed to their multiple fatal injuries.”

Specialised equipment was then used to extract both the truck and the bodies.
