Oh Juju, he’s at it again and this time he went a little too far.
Security officers were forced to remove Julius from Parliament yesterday after he refused to withdraw derogatory comments made about Cyril Ramaphosa. Here’s eNCA:
[House chairperson Mmatlala Grace] Boroto had asked Malema to withdraw his comments about Ramaphosa, but Malema refused, reiterating his comments: “Cyril is a murderer.
“Cyril participated in the conspiracy to kill the workers in Marikana.
“I will never apologise to Cyril. Cyril must rot in jail.”
At this point, Boroto summoned the newly mandated parliamentary protective services.

Parliament had recently seen a change in law that means any MP removed from the chambers faces a mandatory suspension of at least five days. Perhaps this means Parliament might actually get some work done in the next while, although if they just removed the words ‘point of order’ and ‘honourable’ they might free up a whole whack of time.
