I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you read that right, oral sex will kill you. According to scientists, who are yet to get past first base, people who have had more than five oral-sex partners in their lifetime are 250% more likely to have throat cancer than the orally celibate.
You see, Human Papillomavirus (HPV) is the major trigger of throat cancer, and because HPV is transmitted through oral sex, these experts put forward the harrowing notion that oral sex is the bad guy.
But before all of you go stock up on oral sex ‘protection’ (no, not cling wrap), I have some good news. There is a vaccine for HPV, and rumour has it that it’s readily available, which should hopefully save us all.
Cue massive sigh of relief.
