The funny thing about ageing, is that young people think it will never happen to them, and that they’ll be young forever. It might not be a conscious thought, but nonetheless if you really think about it, getting old (if you’re young) is like some bizarre disease that affects other people and not you.
Discovering your first little wrinkle is horrifying, as it signals that you’re also succumbing to the inevitable fate of life. It’s also when you start really thinking of ways to slow down the process of time – eat better, stop drinking, wear sunscreen, maybe even get some work done.
I’d like to say I plan to grow old gracefully, but the honest truth is if there’s a way to slow it all down, I’m not averse to trying it. That said, the thought of going under the knife for a facelift just seems a little too extreme.
It’s important to find the approach that’s right for you, which is why a threading procedure could be the route to go down. And no I’m not talking about eyebrows. The guys at Skin Renewal offer two threading options – Sihoutte Lift is essentially a face lift without the surgery, and PDO threading smooths and brightens the skin.
You’re probably not sure which if either is right for you, which is why you’ll receive a consultation from a qualified doctor to assess your needs.
