To those who came here expecting to see Mittens ripped to pieces by a fearsome bear I have bad news – I’m sure you can find something similar out there on the interweb but this won’t be the place.
It appears they breed their felines tough in Alaska if this video is anything to go by. As you can see the furry house-dweller goes into stealth mode early and waits for the right moment to pounce. This from Gawker:
“She’s really such a fraidy-cat most of the time, I don’t know what got into her,” owner Darlis Elliott [said]. “We were all really surprised that she lunged at him, but we were more surprised that it scared him enough to fall of the porch.”
That bear needs to take a long hard look at the food chain and figure out what it wants to do with its life. That cat, on the other hand, deserves a healthy serving of milk and enough catnip to send her to her happy place.
