If you came here expecting to see a whole heap of people riding a single surfboard then you’re in luck.
Of course this wasn’t just any surfboard, measuring in at 42 feet (almost 13 metres) and able to sustain the body weight of 66 surfers. The event, part of the International Surfing Day festivities at Huntington Beach, California, was a rather unique occasion as the riders set a new Guinness World Record.
The previous record of 47 was smashed as the 66 riders managed to stay on board for ten seconds.
Decent effort but let’s be real here, these guys aren’t catching more than whitewash. Next time we want you in the green room please folks.
