The Tarantino Genesis [VIDEO]

It has been found! Well, refound. If you’re a big Quentin Tarantino fan, which you almost certainly are, then you will love this clip from his very first movie “My Best Friend’s Birthday”. The whole thing is like concentrated Tarantino, squeezed into a half an hour. everything is there: his hyper-manic acting, black humour and very clever camera work and dialogue.

This is his very first movie, made in 1987 and although there has been talk of it’s existence this is the first time I’ve seen it. Apparently most of it was destroyed in a fire in the lab where they were editing it.
