Above is a video of riot police in Durban using a combination of water cannons, tear gas and stun grenades to quell a group of foreign nationals. This from News24:
…over 300 foreign nationals gathered at Curries Fountain in central Durban to march to Durban’s city hall after a recent spate of xenophobic attacks. They were initially due to march before Easter, before police postponed it.
The protesters were defying an order that instructed them not to march. Let’s all just be thankful that our police aren’t taking a leaf out of America’s books. Then again, let’s all remember Marikana…
