There’s nothing quite like dishing the dirt on something. Humans love a good scandal. We love gossip. We are information junkies. Hillary hit Bill with a book, and he bled and then needed stitches.

Hillary’s go-to comfort food during the Monica Lewinsky days was mocha cake which a pastry chef would have to make at any hour.

President Obama rocked out to Mary J. Blige after moving in. I would pay good money to see that.

Jimmy Carter’s sons had bongs in their rooms.

The book even makes George W. Bush sound human. Apparently he would “mess with White House staff by chasing imaginary flies with a swatter when they walked by”.

Kate Andersen Brower, the author of The Residence: Inside the Private World of The White House, managed to talk to all sorts of people inside the White House, much to our delight.
